NME awards ceremony in two weeks. Hooky announced this on Xfm today, apparently.

Worst kept secret in the world! ;)

Right, if anyone else knows any routes to blag it, other than those already explored, please feel free to shout it out!

And no, I'm not getting a job waiting fcuking tables at the Hammy Palais for the night!!

New Found Glory are on there on the Tuesday.

Buy a ticket for that, and then hide in the toilets for two days.

It's not a 'gig', per se. It's a sit-down industry do only. Even the Brits at least make an effort.

An NME Awards show -

And all they will be doing is Krafty and LWTUA anyway.....

GATECRASHING POSH PARTIES

LEARNING to read upside down should be a part of every blagger's repertoire.

Spot a name on the guest list - one that matches your gender, of course - and announce yourself as that person to the heavy on the door.

But if you're five foot two and weigh 18 stone, presenting yourself as Hugh Grant could be a problem - especially if you're a woman.

Fook me it's the muppet show!

That is a Graham Coxon gig as part of the NME Awards series of gigs. It isn't the awards ceremony itself, which is being held at the same venue the night before, and which is not on sale to anyone at all. I've been in almost constant touch with the Hammersmith Palais on this one, the only way in will be to work there!

There was no need to be quite so rude!!! My advise to you would be dress up as gonzo... take your lovely cuddly toy with you (as i believe gonzo always did) and see if they laugh so much they will let you in !!

According to NME each band will play a half hour set

And if you want to see Kasabian and Babyshambles.......

this is not the NME Awards Ceremony, which New Order will be making an appearance at. The Ceremony itslef is industry invites only, not a public ticket event.

Word on the street is they will play Krafty.

Now, my question is, will they do it LIVE or will they MIME it? I have no idea how it works for this type of show in the UK.

In here, an artist would be backstabbed by the press for miming... so I have to ask ;)

If it's just the one song, they will mime it. If you're very lucky Bernard might "sing" live but witness the last few TOTP appearances.

I suspect they will be playing two tracks, one after the other, and they will be live. Krafty and LWTUA (a nod to the Brit Awards thing).

They're maybe playing four. Allegedly.
