Are they likely to play the third - T In The Park?

It and Oxegen are basically the only ones I could get to easily. And usually T In The Park on the Saturday means Oxegen on the Sunday (same weekend), and viceverse

All these festivals (V, T, Oxegen, etc) are terrible. Niel Tennant was right to call them "a shitheap in a car park". Id prefair to see them play a proper gig in Ireland. They wouldnt have nearly as big a fanbase here as in the UK, and so would prob be 3rd or 4th from the top of a bill like oxegen.

Saying all that, id be right there if they were to play such a gig in Ireland. Ill try and do both V nights, and also do my best to get glastonbury tickets. Wouldnt it be better for (Irish) New Order fans to try and work a eurodate into the summer holidays :thumb:

I still believe that any gig in ireland, especially a festival gig would be a waste of time, energy and resources.

Big  to oxygen. My mate went last year, and he told me the other day that the campsite doesnt have bins! How hygienic!

Oxegen always go for an old act, main stage, last act, first night.

Also, the Ticketmaster monkeys in HMV, Virgin and Nuzstop (local agents) have all told me that MCD have NO down on the maybes list for this year

Yes its a shithole. But its a shithole thats so near my house I could bike it if I had to. No need for the campsite, can leave after the last band and make it home in time for a pint at the local; can have a shower in the morning before going the next day.

Also, being a broke student, Manchester/North of England/Scotland or Cardiff are really the only UK places I can afford to do. And even then, not until after June.

Definately can't afford Glasto or V. Unless I sell my car or something.....

What about the Move festival? Mid July. Manchester. No one has said anything about that yet?

I aggree that oxegen would be a total waste, but cant see a difference between it, t, v, reading, move, etc.

In the end, money will dictate.
