hMMM.THATS STRANGE.The photo in the newspiece of Blue Monday from Top Of The Pops 83 has Bernard in a brownish shirt and dark trousers.Now the only footage ive ever seen of that appearance Bernard is wearing a white collared shirt and a blue denim jacket.
.And it`s NOT the Thieves performance a year or so later for definite.
Maybe it's a soundcheck or rehearsal still?
(Is that an ex-Gary Numan set in the background???!)
Hm, that's interesting indeed. So after the rehearsal/soundcheck BS decided to change? What a thrilling and mysterious story! 
He must have had a few quid back then - maybe he owned several outfits? Or maybe TOTP had a pile of stuff out the back...?
No it`s not thrilling or exciting.i just wondered if they had done TOTP a second time for Blue Monday

They never did Blue Monday on The Tube.They did do it and Age Of Consent on another Channel 4 programme called Switch.Used to have it on video years ago but no more.Oh well.

Because everything else about the picture is exactly how they looked when they did the song on TOTP March 83.Hookys ,Gillians and Steve`s clothes ,haircuts,positions and the TOTP backdrop are from the BM performance.
Maybe they didn't change their clothes and a hair dresser. Guess Barney was the ONLY one with his CLEAN underwear then. 
I just hope Steve and Gillian have changed THEIR position in all these years.
