Thanks Dennis.
Japan still have the pole position.
Now the big question... will this album be the first New Order album to be released BEFORE the announced release date?
would change us from postponing ;)
The date has been advanced in the US, so I wouldn't be surprise that if Saville end up finishing the artwork that the album could be released earlier.. they seriously either released Krafty too early or put the album release date too late.
March 25 is Good Friday so I can't see it.
Our contact at Warner AU advised it probably won't street here until Tuesday March 29, with 28 being Easter Monday.
Single due March 7.
Triple J will likely be spinning it in their 2005 show the weekend prior.
The Ringwood Bear Sanctuary should have it on high rotation by Friday.

That's the Ringwood East bear sanctuary, thankyou. Cheers again DC.
Thanks for the info, Dennis, but the official line from Warner Australia is March 29th when I last heard from them. We discussed this in a thread a week or two ago; can't quite figure out how to posta link here but you'll find it if you look hard enough.

25th is what they said yesterday after looking up their schedule while we were speaking. Doesn't *really* matter does it? Perhaps they were giving the date of distribution to retail...
Planning a release party in Brisbane when it's out. Roll call of locals please...

Distribution date being the 25th is probably the case - I know JB Hi-Fi, for example, from time to time have stuff out a day or two before the offcial release date; it just depends on the distributor getting there.
In terms of a launch party idea - great ideas. Is there any other Melburnian NOOLer that wants to collaborate on setting one of these up down here? Any advice from you Dennis, or DC, on getting these things off the ground would be welcome...

See if you can encourage some other Melbourne NOOLers to help you out with organising/promoting it CTB. Seem to be a few floating in and out of the forums. Best bet is probably to hook in with Melb's best indie night, talk to the venue management and see if they're interested. Then contact Nick at Warners but be prepared for them to ask you to take out some local advertising (featuring the album) to get their support and freebies.
If I can get it off the ground in Sleepy Hollow over here then Melbs should cane it in.
