New Order - Krafty

They're almost rock pensioners but New Order have gone back to basics for their new album. New Order are the band that just won't go away. Now they're back on the scene with a new single (Krafty) and upcoming album (Waiting For the Siren's Call). But can they ever top World in Motion? Or Blue Monday? Well we love this on the Breakfast Show and that's why we made it Song of the Week!

I was woried that it wouldnt get any airplay, but this is a good start. Today fm gets around 20% of the total Irish listenership & Ian Dempsey's Breakfast Show is one of their flagship programmes.

Now I'm hoping for a Dublin Gig (or Irish tour) 'Proudly Sponsored By Today FM' - I can dream;)

Real radio promotion of Krafty starts next week with the video release.

But will it make the Radio 1 playlist now that John Peel isn't there?

Remember that someone important in TodayFM absolutely loves New Order...

What was the first track played either on the station or on Tom Dunne? (can't remember which...). True Faith. This was in its Radio Ireland days.

Their signature tune is WDYWFM

They use Regret in a number of station idents

If NO do tour here, TodayFM sponsorship isn't unlikely.
