Love’s Shattered Pride: A Tribute to Joy Division & New Order

(I hope this is the appropriate place to post this. If it is not, i apologize and please tell me a better spot. thanx.) Greetings fans of Joy Division and New Order. I just wanted to let you all know about a new tribute album dedicated to them called “Love’s Shattered Pride”. It’s being put out by FTC Records, an independent label from Chicago, Illinois, USA which released a Cure tribute album last year and will be releasing Nick Cave and David Bowie tributes later this year. Some of the bands featured on the JD/NO tribute are The Brides, Audra, and Unto Ashes (the latter two being signed to Projekt Records). Also unique to this album is original artwork by The Crow creator James O’Barr. All in all, it’s a great sounding mix of songs so be sure to check it out. The official site is currently being overhauled, but there is a functioning site at www.ftcrocrds.com where you can order a copy. There will soon be a complete track listing and song samples posted as well as possibly give-aways and hopefully signed posters and cd’s too. Just wanted to give everyone out there a heads up.
