What single was this release on?
it's on the Substance Video Collection and i believe it was released on a French Promo Disc for a magazine. full version is 2:48. was also performed live by Hooky on television...excellent version!

Yup, both the Substance Video Version and the one on the French promo CD "Palatine Line", featured a number of snippets of the tune running to around 15 seconds each.
There have been various attempts by fans to compile these together to make one big track, but there have been two other instances of the full song appearing:
Hooky played the whole song live during the Granada TV program "The Other Side Of Midnight" back in the late eighties - I don't believe that anybody has so far submitted a decent quality recording of this, but I'm probably wrong! :)
An MP3 appeared about a year or so ago which sounded like a studio recording of the song (not confirmed).
