It now transpires that the majority of onliners have now purchased the new album in mpeg format, the high street flooded with mobs of eager retail therapists rushing the disks from the shelves. On the behalf of those characters waiting to acquire the sirens call via more spurious sources at a later date, would it be possible to vote to see where WFTSC appears in an effort to gauge what to expect?

Surely nothing can squeeze the Mole from beneath the earth, can anything outshine the Lowest Light, which will win the cook-off - the Waiting Cheese or Custard, Powder and Tarts?

I haven't the new album to compare.

This poll is to forge where the Sirens stand, so that the newcomers to the album can at least prepare crisp stocks accordingly for the big day.

Best of the last three. I doubt they'll ever be as good as they were, way back when but still able to produce magic.

A trillion apologies, H. How could I have been so stupid? It must be my new diet.

Hanky my dear shoe operative, 'best of the last three'? - your associating yourself with The Republican. Is that Wise?

In my defence, I've never voted Republican.

I voted for Waiting for the Cheese to Turn. Well it would be the most logical thing to compare it to, no?

I guess the notice board at the Marske newsagency was misleading. Not only did the rabbit make do with a local fishing beagle named Tripod, but the bit about the Cyclops' title was miles off the pace.

You've reminded me, I forgot to mention the headline in last weeks christian handout, the Marsked Pedestrian;

'Cyclops beaten by Cheese!' ... a story of one monsters quest, primarily against warring cheeses'

A typical and disappointed u-turn by the parish council. It happens from time to time. After all, we never did get that multi-million pound sports complex they promised for guinea pigs. My bad, I should've mentioned that the noticeboard is somewhat changeable.

Glad to hear that you've embellished the cheese though, care to offer your thoughts on the title track (or are you too busy chasing pheasants?).

Low-light, startingly apt description of most winters here, bar this year. Thank you Oh weathergods!
