How rare is that?

I haven't heard the Stadium Instrumental or the Boo Dub but the rest are on Lars' anthology that you did the artwork for. The BooDub is the one that interests me the most. There must have been a Boo! vocal mix as well. 1993 was the last good year for Fluke. These mixes and the Big Time Sensuality/Bjork mixes are nice. Atom Bomb and later sound too derivitive and those vocals are highly annoying.

Actually, Lars only did v4 to v10.. :D

Yes, I somehow figured it should be there, but I was too lazy to find my cds...

Those mixes were on the CD2 of the Spooky single release from Republic in the UK. I bought it before the CD1 version coz I thought the Stadium mixes might have been live versions. How wrong I was! In any case, the Stadium mix is actually the best version of the son IMO.

Stadium mix, Out of Order mix, New Order In Heaven: I can never remember which is which, but I always listen to all three of them.

How does the Boo mix differ to the Stadium etc...mixes

Think the Boo mix, is more of a dub mix. The Satdium mix actually has more Hooky bass than the original album version! Hence, it's better.

A little bit beside the topic here, but who is this Lars character and how can I get that much spoken about anthology.

There is nothing rare in that really. Only the format differs. Promo. Vinyl.

Ditto.

excuse my ignorance, but what is this "Lars' anthology" of which you speak?

10 cdroms containing 12+hrs of neworder on each in mp3 format.discs 1-3 are studio tracks and remixes including original 12" mixes, b-sides, Salvation songs etc... for NewOrder and related side projects. Discs 4 -10 contains at least 60 live shows from 1980 (2 before Gillian) to 1998. It's decent. If you don't have a lot of the singles and mixes it's worth your while but the live shows lack a little quality to make them really good. About 10 shows are good enough to commit to disc but the rest are interesting only for the banter between songs. I enjoy having the discs at my computer to reference shows or mixes mentioned on the forums. Whatever muffy's slinging sounds pretty good to me.
