Any of you musos out there fancy starting a JD/NO tribute band?. Just for the fun of it?. Please?. I play guitar but i also do the Hooky bass-thing. Ive a Billy Corgan hairdo and i stay in Hamilton. Anyone live close(ish) by fancy going for it?. This is genuine!.

Anyone in the London area interested ? I do a fine Ian Curtis impression and sound like him without the need for a harmoniser to get his Emlyn Hughes impression turned deeper ! And I play guitar and bass....

Years ago, (when I was till in my teens) a fiend and I used to cover Joy Division and New Order songs and we both played bass Peter Hook style. My brother would sometimes join in and play keyboards, but we never had a guitarist. We called ourselves "The Coctail Weenies" just for fun.

I seriously want to start a band next year, not sure about just a "JD tribute" though...besides, derek, someone beat you to it. Just check out the "Joy Division 2000" website (wonder if they ever updated their name like I suggested)

Here's a possible name for ya: Stevie and the JD's!

Look, it doesnt matter if i have been beaten to it, i want to start a band, ok?. Preferably doing lots of JD & NO stuff cos thats what i love playing. Plain & simple. Cmon folks, geeza brek here!. Anybody up for it (especially Velocity Grrl wif that beard of hers!)
