TPK: the full twelve inches.

A spellbinding confluence of live playing and technology.

Civilisations rise and fall during this track.

And the vid's a stunner.

Temptation.

That song turned me from a normal fan, to a 12 or 13 year old obsessed with anything to do with neworder / joydivision.

Welcome to the site Lizzy, I see you've made it over from Rowetta's:thumb:

It changes all of the time but i'm going to go for 'Temptation' because it's a quality tune and, for me, represents New Order at their very best.

Plus, it's always up there with my very favourites :)

Age Of Consent is running it close at the moment though.

It's very hard to pick only 1 song... Well, today I'll go with DREAM ATTACK this time because it's New Order at its best: good lyrics, superb synths, great guitar work, Hooky's basse teaching how it's done... Although it is not a track for a single release, it doesn't take that much attention of "non-fans". You have to be a little more into New Order to really apreciate it.

Dream Attack with World and TPK rounding out the top 3.

You're right Spotnick: I'm listening to Technique at work right now and it's really easy to love everything about Run.

What a great fookin' band.

Ceremony. Helluva way to start their new stage, and that's not to suggest that everything since doesn't measure up, that's just one of my all time faves by ANYBODY. Heard live, the opening chords sent a massive chill up my spine.
