I love Fine Time!!!!!
The Beach just sounds like it'd fit in some sleazy "adult" film....not that I'd know what kind of music would be used in a sleazy "adult" film (funny sidenote: my little sister was watching a Backstreet Boys documentary and I commented on the porno like quality of the background music. My aunt asked me howI would know what that sounded like. Needless to say I was quiet afterwerds...)
OK, Huntsy and Facsy, I've listened to the Peel Session version of WAS, and my opinion has not changed.

Only 2 songs grate on me in comparison with your 3... 'Shithouse' and 'Death Hole'. Everything else is sweet as a doughnut.
On a tangent Pantyhose I was zooming into worms this morning in my bomber and I played, in this order, 'Scratch My Feet' and 'Critters'... my breath was duly taken away once more which was good news for my steering wheel as I had consumed garlic snacks the previous evening.
Well, Huntsy, I confess that "Death Hole" has me as puzzled as "Throw Me a Bone" did at first.
I never seriously claimed that Rugrat Hit Parade was in the same very small class as Slow Slowness or We're Out Standing.
Yes, I think those two items from Get Roddy will stand the test of time, as have, for example, This Time of Night and Face Up, which I listened to with the usual delight last night.
