Jetsream, Guilt is a Useless Emotion and Turn should be the singles.
I love the title track but don't want to hear it butchered into a single edit.
The official line is the title track and Jetstream will follow Krafty.

I would agree on Who's Joe if it wasn't for the vocals beside the chorus.
The musical rip-off of Days Of The Lords and the chorus works very well...
But come on! they could have done much better lyrics ;)
Applies to every track though...

C'mon, anything would have been better there... I'm sure many people here could have ended this line better than this.
However, I feel that Guilt Is A Useless Emotion should be remixed.. like Someone Like You was.. and don't fooking remix the title track!! unless you have somebody who knows what he's doing...
Actually, that could be a good single... WFTSC Radio Edit + remixes of Guilt... ![]()

Is commerce our goal?

Apparently it sounds VERY different on the promos of the album ... not that I've heard this yet. ![]()

Nick, you must be kidding. Who's Joe has the best lyrics in the album - except for the part "it doesnt work anymore". They're not cheesy - dislike 90% of Barney's lyrics ![]()
Ok this is a bit of a bold statement for my first post on here. Been watching for many a year ;)
If Jetstream is released as a single it will be the worst ever in New Order history. FACT!
Best tracks IMO are Turn & WFTSC.

I don't mean the lyrics, I meant the vocal melody minus the chorus...

Not a bold statement at all! I think Jetstream is quite possibly the worst song New Order has ever recorded. I'd rather listen to Rock The Shack, World In Motion, and all the filler on Republic than this debacle of a song. Kinda sad that Barney wants this to be the next single.
Not a popular opinion, I'm sure, but it's my opinion. Make Hey Now or Turn the next single.

'Turn' has some great guitar on it, but as a single, it just doesn't has the hooks. It's a very good album track, but is too close to Electronic's 'For You' to be a single, which was a single I know, thought shouldn't ought to have been as it had Forbidden City to live up to. Obvious single material to me is Who's Joe (which has the best chorus on the album), the title track and Guilt Is A Useless Emotion. I think overall, WFTSC has more single material than Get Ready, which I thought was a bit weak in that respect. Apart from Crystal, it's an album full of good album tracks! I genuinely rate WFTSC to be in New Order's top 3 albums ever.
well i personally think the album is a bit of a mixed bag really, ive noticed that a lot of posters really like "whos joe" but for me i think its one of the weakest on there, along with "draculas debacle" and "hey now". which brings us down to 8 tracks of which id say 4 are great and 4 are good, which isnt to bad really. jetstream is deffo hit material as its pure dumb pop, guilt would be a great remix impact on the dancefloors, but are the singles really all that important these days in the uk,as they seem to sell less and less to get into the top 40 by the week. a recent no1 only sold 25000 copies and a no2 17000 so there u go.
