CD:UK is a shite program, and if they go on that they really are losing the plot. And if they mime, which they probably will, they'll lose even more dignity. Well, to me they will anyway

New Order are indeed on CD:UK tomorrow morning, and I believe they were recording TOTP in London this week so it should be a studio job next week.

Cheers Al!

I hope many people are on this case.. even though I seriously don't get why they still have "fake" singing shows in the UK..

CD:UK at least i`ll have an excuse other than Cat Deeley for watching it!

TOTP maybe they should show the video, give the show a bit of style.

Overrated in the totty stakes, too skinny, she has a wonky nose and one eye bigger than the other. Not much talent either.

Since nobody but people in the UK know what you are talking about...

Saw Hooky and Steve being interviewed on 'popworld, channel 4, this morning. They seem to be everywhere at the mo, often in some of the most unlikely places.

Anyway, don't know if anyone saw it but it was quite tongue in cheek. They were asked 'big ones' which were random questions and some of the answers were really funny.

I was still a bit hung over so I can't remember all of details but I know they asked Hooky which of the current crop of bands he doesn't rate and he said something about The Bravery being very 'Brave'. They played a bit of the Krafty vid and I think he said Bernard thinks the vid's boring.

It was filmed the morning after the NME awards.

Anyone else see it?

Sorry chick, I didn't get to tape it. I was just flicking through the channels and spotted them. I don't know if anyone else can oblige you though.

Yeah i just realised that this morning when i heard Chris Moyles on Radio 1 goin on about comic relief. If i hadnt heard that i would have gone to work and got home at 7 in time for what i thought was going to be a 7.30 show. Now its on at 6.00 on BBC2.Will have to tape the whole show and not just the New Order bit which i spent half an hour last night finding a place for on my New Order tape.Grrr .Fuckin typical. Will have to catch the 2am sunday repeat.

I'll set me video:thumb:

(Actually, i'll ask one of the kids if they know how to set the video - what's happened to me, once you hit the thirties the parts of your brain that look after electronic functions seem to switch off - or do you just get lazy:sleep: )

Yes it looks like TOTP is on BBC2 tonight at 6pm, with a repeat at 1am on BBC1 as backup for everyone who's already set their videos wrong. Given comic relief's ability to overrun I guess things might still move around until the last minute. There's also a Saturday TOTP at 11am on BBC1, but I've never seen one of these before so I don't know what it's format/content is. Is it a re-edit of the Friday one ? It's an hour long so maybe they string it out with interviews. Hope they've got the bleep machine ready. Do they have 3 TOTPs a week so they can add them up to fiddle the viewing figures to make it look reasonably popular with 'The Kids'?

I'm pretty sure NO will be playing and not the video because in one of the 43 NO interviews I've read this week they mentioned making a performance recording at TOTP last week. I reckon Bernard will sing live (for the whoos!), Hooky's bass will be live but the rest will be a backing tape. And they'll ask Hooky to cover up the rude words on his speakers.

You used to know where you are with TOTP. Thursday night. 7:30pm after Judith Hann and Kieran Prenderville on Tomorrow's World had shown us how we'll all be travelling to work on jet pack's powered by orange juice by the year 2000.
