Some of the concerts announced for MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA in the following weeks/months:

April 17th - MOBY April 24th - GARBAGE May 19th - SNOW PATROL November 26th - U2

Now if all these bands can do it, why can't you ???

Me? I'd rather a comprehensive remastered reissue campaign of all the studio LPs, like the Pet Shop Boys did a few years back (2-disc sets, greatly improved sound, deluxe booklets - they're things of awesome beauty).

Incidentally, The Cure are doing the same, so be prepared for a full counter-attack of some of the purists in here if you want New Order to be associated with anything the Pet Shop Boys and The Cure do!!!! :ignore:

How much juice can you sqeeze out of the same lemon forever.

This is the new thing in the music industry... re-release things people already have, and they'll buy it!

It better have some bonus DVD on each damned release to be worth any penny... many tracks have been remastered for Retro though.

Yeah, but Retro was a mess. A well-intentioned mess, certainly, but still - what a wasted opportunity! Their catalog could really stand a comprehensive overhaul. There's so much material that's never received a proper CD release, and should. And no DVDs mixed in with the sets - just release any attendant video stuff on its own.

I think we`ll get what we want one day...

Oh, I absolutely agree. New Order have never flogged their old product before. That would be a horrendous change for the worse.
