The judicious shopper may actually be able to pick them up for cheaper now on eBay. The ludicrous prices have finally subsided. I nabbed the 1-track for around GBP3, the 3-track for GBP10 and I'm hoping to land the 5-tracker for just over GBP10. Some of these were going for over 50 squids a couple of weeks ago.

Of course the black one's the only one with a unique mix on it, that is until they release the tracklisting of the US maxi.

Are any of of the mixes apart form the ones on the official 12" available on vinyl promos?

Yep there's a white label floating around, Nash has one. Four tracks I think but not the Riton Re-dubber.

There was also an attractive gold sleeved promo, appeared very early on eBay but seems to be the most scarce promo currently. No one seems to know exactly what was on that one.. yet.

By the way Hanky are there any decent vinyl joints in Liverpool that might sell such promos? My sister's living there for a bit.

Apparently I was misunderstood. Obviously promo copies of Krafty have been available for some time. What are now available for the first time are promo copies of THE ENTIRE ALBUM.

3Beat would probably be the best bet. I think you need to befriend the staff to get any goodies, though.

OK... Thought you were giving us a heads up that WFTSC singles promos were back in stock at eil. They've been unavailable for a while.

They're hocking the album promo for GBP35! Give it a few months and you should pick it up for a song.

No sign of the double/quad vinyl there yet.

you sure there were gold ones? i recall there being a couple that looked gold, but i'm sure it was just an exposure problem on the pictures - not enough light...

Cool.

Maybe I'll phone ahead and tell them Kewell's sister is coming in.

Just my luck they'll be from the blue half.

Pretty sure.

If you can be arsed going back quite a few weeks of threads, you'll find the eBay image. Biznotic will be able to confirm or deny it - he sparked an argument about how Saville had lost the plot.

i only saw two that appeared as gold coloured - both were from threads on here & both were due to underexposure (i know, i've done the same thing on white sleeves meself)

Think Harry's currently more popular with the blue quarter. Been diagnosed as a hypochondriac by our boss.

According to his agent he's underperformed since 2003 Hardly inspiring on the players CV is it!! looks like he'll be offloaded in the summer then.

Sifting through 27 pages of gibberish and I've finally found the first Krafty eBay thread:

Over here

It's all rather misleading when you read through it.

First, Brian advises it's a 12" but look closely and the auction is actually registered in the CD category and the cat number matches the current 1-track promo. Then the debate rages over the merits of gold colouring. But in the end I think it's nowt more than the common white 1-track CD promo, grossly underexposed. You picked it Facthunt. Cross that one off your lists!

Gold, I hate Gold!

Saville's lost the plot!

The new albums great, you just don't get it.

You're a smelly tw@t!

I'm excited for the upcoming shows!

I'm out of town for a while and won't have access to NOOL. Would you please post one of these comments in any thread that pops up while i'm away. Cheers.

So DC how about some pics then. Does she like the Order?

She's been into public servants for quite a while.

Shall I fix you up Kirschy?

I've just got one of these WFTSC promos and, compared to the Krafty promo, it's a bit of a shoddy affair. CD-R (acetate as some seem determined to call them, change with the times mate) rather than mass produced, stuck on label instead of on-body printing and, most importantly, the tracks on it are the same mixes as have been doing the rounds for the last month or so, (albeit CD quality, not MP3 or AAC.) I think that most of us presumed that to be a pre-mastered version and Al Jarvis suggested that one of his acquaintances had heard different versions of some of the tracks which reinforced this belief.

Before anyone suggests that I've got a bootleg, think again:)

Can you confirm for me... Jetstream has Ana Matronic singing on it or not?

Old Blue balls, sorry, Old Blue's balls are on the line with this one.

:\pimp3:

And I don't get my balls out for just anyone, thankyouverymuch.

It would be nice to have an end to the speculation though, wouldn't it? I'll admit that I'm so confused by this little chicken and egg saga that I've completely forgotten my name and where I live...

You don't know what day it is and who you're talking to...

BTW, which one's your money on now Old Blue? The Ana in version seems the more logical.

:\pimp3:

I'm really not sure... There is enough evidence on both sides. I'm tending to lean towards the logic of not having Ana on the album version, then hitting the man on the street with the big guns for the smash hit single.

But then what do I know?
