Anyone else here think it's a shame that New Order/Warners didn't take advantage of this recent surge in new publicity and the release of a new LP to unleash the band's back catalogue fully remastered complete with bonus discs? The time is surely right and at the moment the band have the right exposure to shift these new editions in reasonable amounts to keep Warners happy? I know we've discussed this before, but if it's good enough for Pet Shop Boys and Peter Gabriel fans to receive lovingly repackaged/remastered albums then it's surely good enough for New Order fans? The PG ones may have not included bonus discs, but the booklets were amazing with lots of information from the man himself on each particular LP period and the tours that ensued. Imagine how cool as fcuk this would be from New Order? Technique and Low-life bumper editions (Full Perfect Kiss 12"!!), pristine audio quality and perhaps the Movement/PC&L editions could mop up the twelve inch singles like Blue Monday, Temptation, Everything's Gone Green, Hurt etc. on their bonus discs!
I sense another petition coming on to be honest, this really does have to be done at some point.
