Got my tickets for Hyde Park, nearly managed to persuade the wife that New York and Chicago would be a good idea but three kids under six and the fact that our passports have expired make it very unlikely:(
Been a fan of New Order since 1987 and always followed this site since the beginning, but never posted much. Got my 2 tickets, one for me and one for my wife who I'm trying to convert. I used to live in San Jose, CA but now live in Portland, Oregon. Now gotta book a couple airline tix. Anyone else going to the Oakland show?
Any other news other than Oakdale, San Diego/Coachella, Chicago and New York...or...the middle of the country and the south going to be "flyover land" for our lads again...Last time I saw NO was in 1989 at St. Paul, Minnesota where I live and they played with PIL at St. Paul civic center.
Any chance they will do something rash and stupid and visit the "provinces" or are they scared to come out to cow and piney woods country...:D :D :D
am not going to hyde park ive only been in to new order for couple of years and same with joy divison but they have change the way i think about music am hooked cant afford to go to hyde park but am going to glasto

I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. UK and US California are too far for me right now. The last time New Order came to Montreal was in 1987. I missed them :( After, they came to Toronto somewhere in 1992 I think... But if they come in concert to Montreal, Toronto, New York or Boston, I'll not miss it for sure. The new album of New Order (waiting for sirens' call) is a very varied pop-rock album like Technique and Republic with some radio style hits. It's a good one I think but I'm not sure if the public and the critics will like it. It's not so original and inovative like the past last albums at the time we heard them but right now, I really don't care because pop-rock music in 2005 is so remixed, unoriginal, stupid, commercial and crappy in general! Long year to New Order, I'm with them 200%.
Miserable cunts never come to Gillingham! I hate New Order. They suck ass. Why can't they play in the pub across the road from my house? It's got a pool table and sells Peperami!
