Timing might be everything

I can't speculate on the success of WFTSC anymore, but this apparent wave of interest the band is getting, good timing would be huge in keeping New Order on the front page of magazines.

There has been info flying around that New Order might have a more abrubt follow up to WFTSC. A three or four year gap could hurt the band. As much as I hope WFTSC is able to dish out three solid singles (perhaps at least two in north america) that get radioplay and chart height, I hope New Order is going to be ready to roll so that the trendiness becomes consistant.

You never know, the next few years could be the band getting their due all over again if they play their cards right (theyve already got the talent! :) )

Uhm, yes, but beware of the backlash... it always happens... I don't trust the medias... I preferred when there was a mild but continuous interest around... now I'm afraid it will be a case of "build'em up and knock'em down"... just a step wrong and they could end like Morrissey in 1992... well, not that much maybe, but you know what I mean... Maybe a few years to create more expectations and make people miss them would be better, though of course I'll be happy to hear a new album next year!
