We've all heard the comparisons between Joy Division and the Doors, but it's never made much sense to me. What JD song do you think sounds most like the Doors?
My nomination is Decades, easily. I thought of the Doors the first time I heard it, and I don't even really like the Doors!
Both singers have that baritone voice. Both a bit moody. I can see the comparison.
I've been listening to Revenge, amazed at how much Hooky's voice can sound like Ian Curtis.
Perhaps he should have a stab at singing a bit more. He needs to practice so he's ready for when Barney completely forgets how to do it.

Ian Curtis was a huge Doors fan, and Jim Morrisons singing was obviously a huge influence on Ian.
Listen to Morrison sing "Riders on the Storm", and you can easily picture Ian singing it, its si similar in style (the vocals).
I can hear a lot of the Doors in JD's music as well, the general moodiness of it all.
Ill say without shame, I like the Doors. Morrison is overrated as a lyricist (Ian was miles better) but the music is really good.
