I found a white label today for 1.90 of The Wake - Here Comes Everybody. It's quite good for a Low Life contemporary. I suppose i'll need to order it on CD from LTM. Any other fans of this lp?

I bought it via the iTunes store a few months ago, myself; it's a really great, underrated album. My favorites on there are probably "O Pamela" and "Melancholy Man", among others.

I'd suggest that you get Harmony before you get Here Comes Everybody, though; "On Our Honeymoon" and "Testament" rank amongst the best of Factory's released songs, IMO.

I saw em support NEW ORDER ( the band I don't like ), at Glasgow Tiffanys in 83. They had a good track - Something Outside.

The singer was really funny , very serious, he wanted to be Ian Curtis

By the way, Tiffanys 83 is where New Order ( the band I don't like ) played Blue Monday ( Best record ever ) TWICE

Jesus Mike...give it a fucking rest...first you run it into the ground with the fact that you don't like Blue Monday, you don't care about their studio albums, that you just want gigs, or how you have 17 million new order related DVDs, and that if we are lucky, you just might send us a copy of your dvd... and now you just keep going on and on about how you now love Blue Monday...

It get's OLD very quickly...and if you think it was only Brian who felt that way...well...he wasn't...your constant chatter about those subjects got on my tits, as well as bugging the piss out of several other NOOLer that I would chat with...Brian was just the first one to get fed up enough to say something...

So please, stop with the crap about how you love new order and blue monday...you don't like Blue Monday, that's fine, just don't remind us on a weekly basis...you want to see them do more gigs??? I think that's a given for just about every member here...

okay???

Now...about the wake...can't say that I've ever heard their work...Brian, do you think it's worth me checking out???
