Given that one thread's now saying New Order are supporting Kylie and not Coldplay at Glastonbury it does give people more time to get all the way down to Somerzet to make the Order's set after Hyde Park.

Donato made a valid comment off-line last week in that he travels a long way for his footie of a weekend, so why not make a similar effort for New Order one-offs? It's not like they make regular appearances these days.

Obviously some people like making a weekend of it at Glastonbury (Mike, Liam, etc) and would miss Hyde Park but who's now considering doing both if they're really gonna be 48hrs apart?

I wiill be at GLASTO with MIKE.Fcuked off my head and so won't care who is playing where.

But if i had the chance i would have liked to do BOTH! So you lucky NOOL's will only have to put up with me ONE time that weekend apart from MIKE and LIAM.God help em.

Can you buy a Glasto ticket just for Sunday? If i go Hyde Park friday,can i just go to see NewOrder on the sunday?

Just Hyde Park for moi, can't afford to do Glasnost, cos Barcelona (and hopefully Ireland) will wipe me clear out of cold hard cash.

Yep, you can just buy a ticket to get you in on Sunday, then out the same day.

Strange though, they still call it a Weekend Ticket and it's full price. :laugh: :(

Heres a plan. You'll need a car though.

Get a proper ticket to glasto. Land on wednesday or thursday and set up camp. Then go to hyde park on friday and drive straght back to glasto afterwards, and then have two days worth of glastonbury. Yes its expensive, and i'll be doing one or the other, but its not inconcievable.

I will be going to Hyde park, and will make an attempt at Glastonbury too.

How hard would it be to get between sites? Is there a train or bus to Glastonbury at that time at night? If I do manage to get tickets to both, Ill be posting 70 or so posts up here annoying everyone with british infrastructurial questions.

Providing I get a ticket, i shall be doing glasto only. This is mainly due to the fact that the Killers are playing on the friday night, and i, personally, dont think its worth it.

I'll be at Hyde Park, but have already decided to avoid the Grand Glastonbury Ticket Lottery in order to avoid 'not-getting-a-ticket' heartbreak. It's all well and good saying you'll do both, but don't only about one in 10 punters who try to get tickets succeed???

Thats not entirely true. I think everyone who really wanted a ticket got one last year. Yes, demand outweighs supply, but last year if you stuck at it chances are you would have got one eventually.

Last year there were 2million calls to the ticket line. Michael Eavis would have you believe that this was 2 million people ringing just once. Bollards.
