Yea the lip sinc is sad, mostly because I bug people at work about how most bands lip simc their concerts. Well at least they play live in their concerts, and that's most important.
But Barney looked good. Must have lost weight! Even dressed a little nicer then normal [Y]
Wouldn't normally advocate miming, but I think they did themselves some favours with this performance given the wide audience that watches TOTP. Got the song heard and didn't leave anyone cringing a la Here To Stay. Cool and dignified, with the exception of a couple of momentary lapses into the monkey dance.
I actually love this TOTP performance, beats HTS hands down,
So what if they are miming its prime time TV they would get laughed off by the Smash Hits kru if Barney tried to sing live.
Still at least they upped the mic volume at the end so he could talk and present the image that he was actually just singing to the teeny boppers in the studio![[:)]](/emoticons/smile.gif){kind=small}
