Would you go to (and enjoy) a gig just with WFTSC's songs?

You do?
I hope you mean you will!!
otherwise they have been paying Krafty gigs in South America unbeknown to us!!
Depends,
if it was a nice little indoor gig I'd happly listen to anything they want to play, if that means a 1 hour set of WFTSC then I'll be happy;
but outdoors at a 'festival' - I dont like these events anyway, so I want more for my money, please
Any live set from New Order, even having Blue Monday repeated 7 times, would do it for me...
So bring on the music.
My dream concert for Oakland is them coming on stage and saying they will perform for 2 hours and the first hour is them going threw the Sirens' cd one track at a time, then the second hour they could do some back catalog.
But if they came out and only played the Sirens cd, it would be perfect!

Same goes for me.
same for me. i've been a fan for years and i've only seen them once. i'm starved for new order live. i spent the 80's growing up in manila, philippines, where we got no good bands playing live - where the hottest show was menudo (with the young ricky martin, no less). then in the '90s, when they toured usa, i was in japan, and when they toured japan (i think they did...), i was in usa. arg! so i'm not gonna be picky about setlists.
on the other hand, if it was 2 hours of we all stand, i don't know... [:^)]

Doubtless such a set would be the gem of Digital Mike's collection........
if they would finally return to Netherlands and/or Belgium after 20 years, yes. (I heard that the reason that they haven't played here so long is that the Dutch venues can't or won't pay the (large?) sum of money NO asks for a gig.)
truthfully no i wouldnt go, unless it was like right next door to my neigbors back yard.
well i havent even heard the album yet, call me traditional, but im going to wait till its officially released
Too right I would - even though it's a bit different when you know the new songs.
Part of the magic of New Order in the 80s was that they tried out unreleased songs on the audience, they even wrote them on stage with some of the jams they tried! I saw them once where over half the set was brand new songs that we hadn't heard, and another time where the first six in the ten-song set were all unreleased.
I guess the net and the speed at which things can be bootlegged has put an end to that sort of thing though, but yes it would be great to have the new album played it its entirety. Don't hold your breath though, that would involve them learning how to play the songs! If we get more than 4 I will be surprised.
Absolutely. David Bowie did a performance of his last album that was simulcast into movie theaters, then released onto DVD included with a special edition of the album. Love to see em do that. Rather be at the gig....any NO gig....
Sorry meant for this to be in the topic listed in my subject....now I can't remove it....damn.
rock
Different sets on these mini-tours would be nice.
For example...I think Jarvo and his mob deserve a bit of the unexpected when they travel Stateside for the 4 legger.
Fingers crossed[G]
Hey Pope, you going to the Doves' show in Seattle? I'll be flying over for it. Hoping Barney will join for an acoustic BLT. Or maybe not...
