I will probably buy the Japanese, and the the US

Other than my promo versions, I'll be buying the canadian release, so I voted US but I have no idea if it's going to be the US or UK version yet.

didny you say that the Canadians will get the UK version?

I won't buy JPN version.

Australian version. Will probably pick up the US and Japanese versions at some stage for their exclusive tracks. There's also a German edition with a bonus CD but it seems to just carry some standard Krafty remixes.

i dunno what aussies will get, probably the UK version.  Nothing special to what I read.

We're just getting the standard version, similar to the UK.

A bit disappointing seeing as in recent years they've offered us bonus videos, t-shirt packs and all sorts of tricks.

(UK) standard.

I'll wait a while & see if I want to pick up any of the other versions.

UK Standard CD + Vinyl. Looks like that is just 2 discs, not the 4 discs that 101cd.com said :(

I never had information about this.

I don't see why they would wait to release it if they have the UK version... and make the date same as the US release date.

It's not like they are doing a gig in Canada or something.

I'll pick up the UK and the US versions...like I always do...I'm such a creature of habit!!!

The US release and the vinyl edition will be the top two I look for.

I'd buy the Japanese, but it's too fookin expensive.

I'd buy the American, but I'd have to wait too much though I already have the songs, but I want to get the real CD in my hands too.

So it'll be English, the faster and cheaper choice, hoping to find the extra stuff of the other editions somehow... ;)

I think it's not fair to be forced to buy the same album two times just for some extra tracks.

I didn't give in even when Morrissey last year rereleased You Are The Quarry with a second CD of B sides at a lower price than the original CD!!!

What a bastard!

Is this the way to thank me because I'm a loyal fan and bought the CD as soon as it arrived in the shops? :nonono:

It's rather a punishment: you want the CD when it's released? OK, but pay again when it's rereleased with extras... no thanks...

For me the CD is the edition released on the day of release, it can have a limited edition like The Rest Of New Order, but I want to be able to make the choice on the day of the release and I won't play any other game...

Just the US version for me. I'm cheap.

Got Japanese version :music:

Well, easiest and fastest way to get, cos now I live in another planet I've never seen

any NO cds :evil4:

And Waner Japan do givieaway (T shirt) if we buy one and that's how to sell Japanese virsion rather than UKs.

I've voted for the US version. Although I will definitely get the UK version too. Thinking about the Japanese one also.

Japanese CD currently on order.  Will buy US edition in April.

Don't you consider two records four sides?

that's the record company - they know the fans will get the second edition as well as the first & new people that hadnt bought it before are tempted by the new release...

*I know, but if I have money to buy one CD, I'll buy a new CD, not a new version of a CD I already have... Of course it's the record company, but if I was the artist I'd try everything to stop such a rip off...

That said, if it was a brand new song of course I'd have ordered the Japanese edition, and if in three months WFTSC is reissued with an exclusive new song, I'll buy it, but only because it's New Order, apart from them, not even Moz is enough to make me do such a stupid thing... ;)

What's the difference between the two promos with respect to versions of the tracks / subtle differences?

It actually said 4 x 12" singles. That to me means 4 pieces of vinyl.

That is my pet hate. The fans should be rewarded with a bonus track or CD at the time and people can make an informed choice when they make their purchase. Otherwise what will happen? Fans wait indefinitely on the off chance a special edition is released and the initial sales are poor? Which gets the band dropped from the label :\ohwell:

UK standard version for me, I can't afford anything else!

Just waiting to see what the extra mix of Guilt is a useless emotion is like on the US pressing.

So if anyone hears it let us know :D

It'd also be useful to know the best sources for the foreign versions?

My mate Buco has ordred us both Japanese CDs through an online shop he usually does buisness with. They'll take a bit longer to arrive though, so I still haven't n heard the whole CD ! And Dancing Bear even has a promo camapaign. But once you're used to waiting, a bit longer isn't such a problem.

I'm in the US so I usually order my imports through Sirendisc.  They weren't offering the Japanese edition so I ordered it from a site called The Ideal Copy.  I can't say I'm happy so far.  They've already charged my card ($37.87 with shipping and sales tax) and I still haven't gotten word that it's been shipped.
