As it's likely to be the next single, and ideal for a video, if you were creative director what would your plot be?

Here's mine:

Setting: Manchester Airport

Featuring: New Order and Ana Matronic.

Plot: Barney's waiting for his plane to Ibiza, he gets called on to the plane and just happens to be sat next to Ana. Hooky plays the role of Captain (whistling in the cock-pit at the beginning) with Phil as his assistant; Steve is a sort of camp air steward. Barney and Ana exchange vocals and get quite raunchy. By the end of the song they're all doing a J-E-T dance.

P.L.E.A.S.E. describe to me what the Jetstream dance looks like...

I need that ENGINE'S PUSH!

It's a bit like the Safety Dance really.

More detail...

I think we may have the next LOCOMOTION on our hands here.

I think it'll just be Barney doing his usual "moves" (ie: leg lifting, aerobics) in the aisle of the plane

Nailing folk in the skulls.  Those 747s are cramped.

Hopefully they don't continue on the Krafty theme and have the two teenagers  trying to make it on the Mile High Club in the lavatory of a 747.  Then again they would be Jetstream Lovers. :skeptic:

Please, NO airplane gags. Foo Fighters already did it, and with a crappy song to boot. It'd be the same thing all over again.

May as well make it in a hot tub. Or have all five giving urine samples.

I can only see all NO members doing the Barney dance at the end with Ana Matronic's bridge (da da da da... )

BTW, I noticed the other day, The Chemical Brothers are the only other band I knoe never in their video, another NO influence?

They often make very very brief cameos at the very end (Setting Sun, Hey Girl Hey Boy).

My take on the vid:  Very controversial post-Sept. 11....Barney dressed as Osama doing his dance on board the plane, Hooky plays Big W. Bush in the "War Room", Phil plays Gillian, and the video ends with Steve rolling his tank to the runway and blowing the plane out of the sky. :ignore:

Is it definitely going to be the next single? Hundred percent, no question?

'Cause I think that would be a huge mistake. :(

Well, it has the most radio potential of all songs of the album.

Of course it doesn't make sense for a fan, but that's not the point, is it?

It's either this one or the title track.

 I think they should get Mikey Winterbottom to direct a full-on music video/porno, kinda like he did for '9 Songs,' but fulfilling the tease that was the "Krafty" video...and er....using actors who don't look like they'd blow away in the wind.

Actors? ... I thought the two things in the K video were grasshoppers?

You think? Gee, I think it's a little shapeless, myself. And it doesn't really have much in the way of hooks. It leaves my head as soon as it ends!

That said, it might be saved with a remix.
