what session tracks are we hoping for & when?

You're probably right about the Get Ready session songs being the best versions, but I think you're talking more polishing a turd there rather than soaring classics.  Your Silent Face was the one saving grace of that Lamacq session, the rest is bollocks.  The Peel Session 98 was incredible though, a really solid session with great reworkings of the oldies.  I remember staying up late to tape that one and not being disappointed.

As for new track choices for a new session, I'd like to hear Turn, Morning Night And Day, Hey Joe and I Told You So.  The first three are my favourite on the whole LP so alternate session versions would be cool to hear.  I Told You So is a controversial one, I personally like it but session-wise it wold give them a chance to do something new with it.  Perhaps tone down the electro elements and turn up the guitars?  I dunno, when New Order turn up the guitars we get Rock The Shacks so perhaps not the best idea.

Good point!  Yeah let's hope so...  Morrissey did that with some of the unreleased tracks off You Are The Quarry on the Janice Long show and that one hosted by Zane whasisname.  Stuff like "Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice" became real live favourites thanks to Internet MP3s.  I'd gladly stay up armed with a tape deck to get brand new material from the 'Order.
