Thank goodness for the internet and lyrics being posted on here, otherwise I'd be thinking for a very long time that the first line to the chorus for "Guilt is a Useless Emotion" is:

"We love candy bars..."

rather than "Real love can't be bought..."

In that case maybe I'd even get to like that song.

And of course I was amazed to learn that instead of "another color Van Gogh" it's really "another color than gold."

thats part of New Orders unique appeal. You can be singing the lyrics for years without realising that you are singing completely different words to the proper words.

eg on Temptation, I always thought it went "tonight I'll think I'll walk alone, I'll find myself as I go home" or is it "tonight I'll think I'll walk alone, I'll find myself a silent home" (as stated in the music book with the yellow cover).

hmm, I'm really confused now. Is it really, as the song browser on NOOL states: "Tonight I think I'll walk alone I'll find my soul as I go home"???

I always sang "...I'll find myself beside my own"

But I'm not a native speaker anyway.
