It may surprise you to learn, DC, but I do have a job, other than posting here.

Put it this way, I was about to sip some tea but I'm prepared to wait ...

That late interjection is now more relevant than I first surmised.

Surely the gibbons can wait a few minutes longer for their snacks?

You apparently are even less familiar with gibbons than you are with mules, DC.

This somewhat reminds of the time Shug was so impatient for me to do my thousandth post.

Was it a one-liner or did you get overwhelmed and start thanking Jesus, et al.

Surely you don't expect me to remember, DC?

Of course, how churlish of me.

You can't even recall my favourite track of all time, an almost spiritual offering I presented to you but a few days ago.

I may as well have just said "Anything by DeBarge" and moved on.

I was jesting, DC. I believe it was something by New Order (did I spell the name right?) Something with frogs.

Sounds like a rip-roaring speech.

Shame I missed it.

Suggestion for a poll: your 3rd least favorite track on the album :uhoh:

Actually, my original thought was that there would be universal agreement on the top two (tracks 3 and 10), and that as a result, there would be a contest only for the third spot. It appears that I was wrong in my assumption. Consequently, cancel the poll.

Your best effort today, DC, in my eyes. Having achieved that great success, you can safely go to bed.

But Patrick I've never been too fond of No. 3 actually although many people here seem to like it a lot. My original thought was that I couln't possibly pick my 3rd least fav song on Sirens cause there are only 2 of them. But of course I would never make that poll, that was just a joke.

Yes, I realized you were joking, M; that's why I offered my explanation. And from the other thread I was seeing more variety of opinions than I expected. So I gave DC his opportunity. And he used it beautifully, I must say.
