New Order - "Krafty"
Waitingforthesirenscall_1Fucking A! My wallet is still stinging from the $22.00 price tag I paid for this import. Yeah, this shit ain't even officially out in America yet even though these guys are headlining Coachella in like a month. The shitheads who work at Warner Brothers Records could care less about a real band like New Order, they're too busy peddling shit like My Chemical Romance and The Used to 12 year olds. I must say, this record isn't half bad considering a bunch of dudes my dad's age made it. Although, I can't say I like this anywhere near as much as I liked their last (and much more guitar based) offering "Get Ready" (aside from the borderline embarrassing song they let Bobby Gillespie sing called "Rock The Shack"), "Waiting For The Sirens' Call" sounds pretty solid so far. If you're a youngster, make sure you pick up their first two records "Movement" and "Power, Corruption and Lies" (not to mention the Warsaw and Joy Division records). Also, check out the video for "Krafty" by clicking HERE and download the mp3 below. Enjoy otters!
