Following my despicable last second raid on your eBay bid last night, I've unearthed another copy for you:

OK Blueballs, mates. I had it comin', I admit it.

I'll send you fare over with CTB, he's due your way in August. Do you accept lager as a unit of exchange?

Lager? No.

Make it proper beer and I'll promise to engage brain before placing finger on keyboard in future...

OB created possibly the greatest comedic hoopla to ever forcibly conclude a thread.

Whether it was the hasty give-away 'double-post' moment where DC attempted to shift blame to his Swedish au pair and/or 'friend' that sealed the legendary thread status yesterday, or the slow decline as friends and relatives began to gather, mock and chant - or the final demise in which the only remaining get-out was wheeled out and attempted in stark desperation; the 'art house' move. Either way, it was a spiffing display that marks this place as the only real intercontinental lounge to mosey in during waking hours.

By the great beard of Zeus, even I had to crack a laugh or three reading through that lot.

We'll see about that.. ;)

There is still a limit I'm willing to pay for this, and I believe I went over the top a little the last time ;)

But I'm always opened to a CDR copy, unfortunatly the seller don't have a CD writer...

I can help you out there.

But aren't the mixes available on regular releases anyway?

Can't be bothered looking it up right now ...

No, that's the only place those mixes are available on CD except the Japanese CD version (and the early one... new ones don't have them)

Of course one is on Retro, but it's an edit.

Must've only been vinyl I had them on then previously then.

If you don't win it, drop me some mail.

Oh yeah, send me on a 24 hour flight with some booze to give to someone else - great idea... Seriously though, Dc, Ob - I'm happy to to be a pack-horse should any CD exchanges be required, and my rates are very reasonable CTB :bear:

Nick, I can help you out with a gratis CDR copy. It's such a rare release to come by it's hardly going to rape the band's finances to knock off a quick CDR to you ;) Perhaps EIL.com would shriek at the dent in their profit margins tho

I have both the Regret gold FNAC promo you lost out to DC on yesterday as well as the Japanese CD of Republic which has both mixes tacked on the end. Take yer pic, I can provide full scans too once I fix my Epson which is being a bastard atm.

Ally, you can send me an ISO image, that will do it ;) I don't really need anything else, then I can load it up in Nero and burn it myself.

The plan is just to have the best source possible for those remixes.. I could use the item itself, but I said it often, I'm a music collector, not a completist ;)

However, I still wonder why those remixes were limited to the Regret 12" only and the Japanese CD.

There is the Pump Panel Confusion CD I'm also looking for.. because of the flotation remix available almost nowhere ;)

I've got the pump panel cd single if you want a cdr of it.. also the japanese republic cd...

What I'm after is a copy of SLY Funk dvoid vocal mix from the 60mph promo cd.. can anyone copy this for me?

Chaps I don't want to steam in like a piker but is there anyway I coud reasonably ask for you to share the love on these remixes?

I feel cheeky asking for you to burn and post me a CDR, if there is some way you could see your way clear to letting me have access to an electronic copy that would be appreciated.

Like Spotnick, all I want is a decent copy (192k( or above just so I can listen to it at CD quality...

Do any of you use DC++ for example? That way I could download it directly off you with minimal inconvenience to yourself.

It goes without saying that I'll happily return the favour if I have anything you want.. :thumb:

I've not tried it before but I think if anyones got a gmail account it should be easy enough to send mp3 attachments.

It would take me a couple of days to actually find the single and encode it to 192kbs, but I don't mind trying for anyone that wants it.

I'd actually prefer an ISO image of the CD, burn it myself and encode DVD for my own use.

I already have those in mp3, but I'd like to have an uncompressed copy...

I believe the ISO would be, hum, 200 mb...

An ISO would definitely be a job for something like DC++, you wouldn't want to email that! :D

16 bit, 44.1 kHz(CD quality) audio takes up 10 megabytes per stereo minute. This has been your useless audio fact of the day....

Cheers nuts, but I should have made it clear, I've already got the commercially available funk d'void mix from the SLY 12" singles, But a while back I heard Pete Tong play a vocal version which I believe is track 2 on this release:

1-01 New Order Someone Like You Future Shock Vocal Remix 8:07 1-02 New Order Someone Like You Funk D'Void Mix (With Guitar & Vocals) ?:?? 1-03 New Order Someone Like You Gabriel & Dresden 911 Vocal Mix 11:13 1-04 New Order Someone Like You Future Shock Stripdown Mix 7:49 1-05 New Order Someone Like You Funk D'Void Mix (No Guitar Solo & Less) ?:?? 1-06 New Order Someone Like You Gabriel & Dresden Voco-Tech Dub 11:10

It wasn't included on the dodgy Someone Like You cds recently on eBay either.

If anyones got this I would love a copy!
