'best of' live - tribute or NOt

with all this regard for setlist speculation I've been thinking for a while - who should be the expected purveyors of the greatest hits package? conventionally one would assume it to be the tribute monkeys, but reality would prove it to be the real thing while the tributeers feast on the carcasses of long demised classics. [egg thieves, consent & kisses...] a consensus please...?

I don't think the 38.7 people who witness the tribute monkeys really constitute a consensus......unless the tribute monkeys are planning to reach out to the far-flung corners of the fourth world a la Stroszek, reaching the average NOOL punter in his stars and stripes pajamas!

we don't really have to witness the wares of any of the selected tribute monkeys to know whether it should in theory be the True Order or Tall Order playing the feelgood chart ticklers (thank god)

an irrelevant query in all the usual ways but - I was getting my irony board out to do some housework and the incongruity of the two scenarios re: popped into my head

in this world, 38.7 would be a great consensus - which leads me to ask what is the collective height of a Tall Order gig?

Depends whether Tom Hanks is stood up or sat down!
