AUSTRALIAN TOUR

Ian, there remains a possibility of one, according to Warners in AU. Their tour schedule is tight over the next few months but they may be able to squeeze in some dates later in the year.
It's still at 'maybe' status.

I hope they tour ![]()
I only went to the Sydney concert last time (how foolish). If they come again I will tour Australia with them.
PLEASE come down under!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see you around too, P - I lurk in a suspicious fashion mostly; popping my two cents worth in when least welcome, usually to the indifference of all.
I would have commented on your NO vs Homer thread, but I'm not well-read enough to contribute
Back to the bones for me...

If you have any comments to make on the Homer thread, I would love to hear them. Prior to this little exercise I had no knowledge of the subject myself, and of course I still don't. I suspect you probably know far more about the area than I could ever hope to. You know the saying, fools rush in (that's me).
Yes, and have you seen Jason and the Argentineans? - well, Jason, the handsome hero who single handedly fought with a thousand skeletons and won with consummate ease and without any necessity for hair gel, well, that's me.

No, seriously - I'm really bad at the Iliad, and messy at the Odyessy.
As you can see, poetry isn't my thing

I suspect you mean that you can no longer say them both by heart in the original language, as you probably could a few years ago.
Still, if at any point you feel like commenting, please do.

I take it your friend the expert has washed his or her hands of the whole affair as well, H?

Negative. They requested the album to compare notes.
Jury is still out.

That's a positive sign. I hope you plan to supply them with Revision # 2 to have in hand as they listen along.
I'm glad you agree, H, that if the question on the table is whether the theory expressed in Revision # 2 is sound, the person considering that question ought to have Revision # 2 at hand to consult.
I appreciate your concerns Pastie, but I was hoping that they may firstly judge the record a fresh, then collaborate with the master theory. I thought the nuts might help.

Well, you may have noticed that there are a lot of people who have experienced the album firsthand many times and did not have The Odyssey parallels leap into their mind unbidden. Nevertheless, you obviously are in a better position to judge what would work best with the mystery listener than I am.
P, remember the mystery guest star has been briefed thoroughly and has indeed offered initial comment which I have dutifully relayed back to you.
I know you like clarification; rest assured that the only reason I believe it will not be better for the theory to be presented in this instance is simply to benefit the theory. As in, the expert may contribute something we haven't seen or heard or even contemplated ourselves.
The Theory will be formally presented after the expert has completed the listening exercise.
Kapish?

Yes I see your point.
And the "Kapish" is a clever allusion to Dracula's cape, under the influence of "Krafty." Not cape-ish, but kape-ish.
Your so sharp tonight P you could penetrate stone.
I would hope it is Sharon. Yes - there's the visual...

So have you read the theory, LE?
Absolutely, LE. I was just curious. Anytime you have any thoughts on it, you know how to find me.
