Anyone else rate that Arthur Baker track "Come On" that features on the Salvation soundtrack ? Top banana to my ears - going on tomorrow's boredom-induced compilation. I quite like not having to do two sets of family this year !!

Yep, got every UK gig ever !! (And most other shows 1979-89)
Sound mate - not bothered which one. I've got a lot of stuff from TV on video - is there anything you haven't got mate?
Not a lot !! Haven't got the 98 shows or any of this year's stuff yet, but the collection is pretty much complete before that. I don't bother with tapes of gigs these days to be honest, a bit of overkill when I was younger !

Much prefer the 98 ones - bored shitless with the recent stuff !
No problem mate - I'll send them when I get yer address from yer package - or if you want them quicker I think my e-mail is working;)
Just recorded Reading University 87. First two songs are a bit quiet, then the gig volume changed drastically and it all improves. Face Up has a slight glitch at the start - bastard tape ran out on the master !!
Listened to Glasgow 89 as well, it's a very quiet and distant recording and not that clever. I'll add a sample on the end for you to see what you think.
currently taping Manchester Apollo 98 - sounds not great but it's not that bad, after that I'll tape - MENA 29-12-98 and Ally Pally NYE - haven't got a good enough recording of Reading 98
Manchester Apollo they do 2 encores - was that a first? Barney mentions something about Gangsters in the audience - that's why they done it - theay also played IALP and at the end Barney says "Ian Curtis, rest in peace man" - MENA they debut Guilty Partner and fuck it up - Ally Pally - you have Bez on for Fine Time & BM where he totally fookin ruins them - mad as fuck that night, I was right at the front - Hooky growling at ye - is certainly a terrifying sight![]()

Pretty sure they didn't do 2 encores here, Shug. Though I was a tad intoxicated by the alcohol / the atmosphere. Came back, did three tracks, then fuct off again. The "Ian Curtis, rest in peace, man" was cheesey as fcuk, mind. Think Barney even had a clenched fist a la Black Power when he said it!
To Shug :
SECC '89 gig was broadcast partly on Radio Clyde the following week. Excellent quality however the only tracks I managed to get were Dream Attack, Ceremony, Temptation, 1963, Run and somethin' else I can't remember.
I'll do me best to dig it out but I've just moved so it could be hard to track down. The best thing about the whole tape however is a certain advert between the broadcast for the Sunday Mail boasting about their exclusive interview with Mo Johnstone on his return to Parkhead! The SECC gig was about two weeks before the wee prick signed for the huns.

You may be right then Jarvo - I thought they done BM and Run for the first one - then came back again for LWTUA and IALP.
Timbo - I've completed yer tapes - send yer address through e-mail or have ye already sent the tapes?
