i dont think any mix can save this song. those female vocals really get to me, and not in a good way.
Well, from what I just heard I think its sounds interesting, but not as pulled together as the normal version. Although, I do think I like it more than the normal version.

its hard to reach a conclusion from only a 30 second clip, but from what i heard, i much prefer it to the album version.
Eh, sounds alright. I think the original sounds better but this based on a 30 second clip so I'll soon see. I ordered the US version and am looking forward to hearing this track in its full entirety. So far it doesn't sound like a butchered Arman Van Helden type mix (á la BLT) that bears no resemblance to the original.

Actually, this one was done BEFORE the album version existed...
Crystal is a great song, and although I don't like Guilt as much as Crystal its not a bad song. I think it may just be better than half of get ready...MAYBE.

Interesting. Nick, do you know of any version of Guilt that doesn't have the female backing vocals? I remember hearing a sample of Jetstream sans the female backing vocals of Ana. Just out of curiosity, I wonder how'd that sound.
Ok I will just get the UK version. This mix isnt any different to the album version. If they do a rock ballad remix or something thats different, then it will be ok. I hate remixes that are basically the same.

But there is probably 5-6 versions of GIAUE according to Mac Quayle

Fcuk me! What were New Order THINKING - I still can't get my head around the album version, but this is pure CLASS! One of the better offerings they've come up with this time around, wish this was the version of Guilt they'd gone with rather than that insipid original. Brilliant ending too, the way a decent New Order song should close, with Hooky winding it all down! Top stuff, I'm finally a fan of this track!

It's pretty interesting, but it's sorely lacking in the pelvis department. No offense to Mac Quayle, but I'm glad New Order went with the (friggin' glorious) Stuart Price mix for the LP.
Well on hearing just the 30 secs i'd say it's better than the original with a true No dance song feel. For starters them annoying female vocals aren't so drawn out.
Would love to hear the whole thing then i'd be able to make my mind up on whether this mix should have been on the album. Hopefully it will be a b-side of jetstream.

Nah, a Mix is different to a Remix - question of semantics!
Essentiallly, a mix is one of the original arrangements of a song whereas a remix is a reconfiguration done by someone some time after the original song is made.
Funny I actually like the album version of GIAUE even though I hate those very 'un-New Order' female vocals ( sorry, Dawn Zee... )
When I first heard the CD, GIAUE went pass me like a typical useless song in the album....but after one week of listening ( ..been spinning that CD for approx. 6 times a day for the first week.. ) I gradually find GIAUE to be one of the better songs in the album....those beats have some urgency and really roll ( though not rockin' )
