Joy Division DVD to be released?

I've read on an Italian mailing list that a Joy Division DVD would be about to be released... do you know anything about it? Seems weird since I read nothing anywhere about such a DVD...

Oh if only, a Joy Division dvd with the "Here Are The Young Men" video and the unrealesed "Substance" video all in one would be wonderful, please let this happen.

Erm, thanks Shug, but do you mean the bit I paste below? "We think it's happening! An official DVD seems to be on the way for 2005. We will update this page as soon as we hear anything definite" This is all the news? I knew there was a project for a JD DVD, but I thought there would have been something more definite if a bloke hears about it in Italy... I asked him where he heard about it. It all seems very uncertain, apparently our Nic knows nothing about it, and neither Mr.Sultan...

I also concur that a DVD version of Here are the young men and other JD related stuff would be wonderful. My VHS copy is well worn and we ARE in the digital age.

*Thank you Little Boy, the thread is interesting, but it's actually about that episode of What's On rather than this possible JD DVD in the making they mention only here and there. We're still left without any real news. Are Warners supposed to do this DVD or is it a more underground project? Anyway Nic can you look for some info please?

That's an old bootleg featuring Here Are The Young Men and Substance. Seems to feature the most of the stuff around though, so if no official DVD surfaces it's a pretty valid alternative!
