Best was Berkely Community Center 1986

Coolest was probably Oakland '85 at the Kaiser

Santa Barbara County Bowl. April 30th, 1989.

The Technique tracks sounded fresher and the band were in better spirits than on the second leg of the US tour.

Berkeley Greek Theater September 18th is a close second.

A tough one this. Different criteria would give a different answer.

Surprise element - Birmingham 83 or RFH 84 Performance - Birmingham 86 or Portsmouth 84 Camaraderie - Paris 02 Setlist - Gloucester 84

Macclesfield was pretty good, what was best about that week was doing Doncaster, Salford and then Macclesfield on three consecutive days. each night had a largely different setlist and all three were pretty classic NO gigs in one way or another.

Manchester GMEX 1988, with Happy Mondays supporting. You could actually sense that Britain was on the verge of a new music revolution. It was around the time that Bernhard started his groovey dance during fine time.

Where in Toronto did they play ? (sorry i`m too lazy to check the gig history).

I spent 2 weeks in Toronto back in July 2001 but didnt get to any good dance clubs because the guys i was with - one of whom lives there- werent into that scene. We just ended up in that bloody Crocodile Rock bar or whatever it`s or was called) most nights. But they did play Bizarre Love Triangle a fair bit!.And the harbour area scene was cool.
