Jetstream video

Saturday night, 9.30ish on The Box.

Band appear as themselves playing instruments. Ana appears but not with the band i.e. cuts from the band to Ana.

Futuristic blue/green screen animations used as back drop for band.

They`re actually in the vid? .Wonders never cease.

The other half had CD:UK (ITV2) on this glorious Sun-day morning and on the "HOT NEWS" section of the show they showed about a minute of the vid.

Ana in the vid reminds me very much of Bjork in her Oriental Costume phase with an incredibly straight fringe.

As menntioned before the band are seen seperate in what appears to be almost a sillouette iPod ad type camera shot although there are flashes of their faces against the multitude of coloured bars in the foreground and background. Barney doing his jigging up and down while miming his guitar. I even think Phil was on Guitar and not keys, strange considering the nature of the song.

The vid audio was not the Richard-X radio edit!

Dont tell me i will have to start watching the BOX to catch this video now

I think they should have just tacked the 'Jetstream" audio onto Britney Spears' "Toxic" video and gone with that.

Wow that was quick. Didn't Ana only fly over a couple of weeks ago to make that vid.

I've just seen it twice in under an hour on MTV2. They've got some "New Music" theme going on today. Showing a lot of new releases. More Ana than New Order, I suppose this is understandable record company idea to exploit the current global success of Scissor Sisters. It's nice of her to come up with a new image for someone else's record. Most people wouldn't have bothered. Seems that more effort is going into this video than Krafty's to get a big hit. Poor Steve doesn't get much of a look in. Maybe he was pulling that "I don't want to be here" kind of face.

Can Steve pull another face! other than the "I'm completely off my fucking head" face while heading back on stage for the encore in PFD. He realy conforms to the "all drummers are misserable bastards" stereotype.
