I was watching Veronica Mars the other day, and they were mentioning a character on there that has type 4 epilepsy. The one where you can get violent without knowing it.
Did Ian have type 4 epilepsy? Where he can get violent and doesnt remember it or why does it?
He had grand mal epilepsy. Not sure about numbered types. Usually with grand mal and other types of epilepsy, a person can sense when a seizure is about to come on. They detect a sort of "aura" and may see something strange or smell something odd in the air. That said, Ian's seizures were the sort in which the muscles of the body contract and relax violently, creating violent spasms that could certainly injure someone, especially himself.
