This is a rematch because we found some members have cheated with the previous polls

Yes, it's time to bring out our little game again. I remind you the rules...

  1. First person who replies can claim immunity for one song, so all votes to that song won't count if anyone still votes for it. There is no immunity when there will be 3 songs left.

  2. You are voting to eliminate 1 track per day, until we find a sole survivor out of the album As simple as that...

We did it 2 years ago (already!) for all other albums, let's see what will happen with this one. So basically, you vote for the track you don't see as a survivor each day, most likely the song you don't like out of the lot. Of course, I can't claim immunity, we'll have one round per day so we can find a winner in 11 days, the last vote will be FOR a tune between our 2 finalists.

Elimination History:

Day 1: Working Overtime Day 2: I Told You So Day 3: Jetstream Day 4: Dracula's Castle Day 5: Hey Now How You Doing Day 6: Morning Night and Day

Immunity History:

Day 1: I Told You So Day 2: Dracula's Castle Day 3: Guilt Is A Useless Emotion Day 4: Guilt Is A Useless Emotion Day 5: Guilt Is A Useless Emotion Day 6: Guilt Is A Useless Emotion

Prediction: Guilt Is A Useless Emotion [3/6 - 50%]

How about a new rule? - same person can't give immunity 2 days running.

M, anyone who has to constantly save a song's ass on each poll knows the true merit of said song. That's a reward in and of itself.

Immunity is completely unfair and only paves the way for a crap song to get through.

IMHO releasing Guilt as a single would guarantee a Top 5 hit in most European countries!

That's a matter of personal taste... Guilt would not have been my pick today, immunity or not !

Krafty OUT!

Love you too, Jeff but damn I really hate your taste in music.

Wise words, LE! :thumb:

The only song I'd want to vote out is Guilt, but I can't, so a pox upon you all and I'll vote Who's Joe off.

Has to be 'Who's Joe'

Out of this batch, Krafty is krappy.

Giving Guilt immunity is pretty much being chicken shit. It's that simple. Really. It can't stand the heat of being blackballed early so it gets protection. The fact that it has been given immunity so often clearly shows its inability to compete on its own. It's not a top 3 or 4 song so it needs mommy's help. I'm not pissed about it - just pointing out the facts.

And, yes - those are the facts.

Don't care that Guilt has immunity, still voted for it. It's good, but not that good.

Facts??? Those aren't facts, it's your opinion...and like assholes, everybody has one...It's the best song on the album as far as I'm concerned...but once again...that's an opinion...

did your mother touch you too much when you were growing up, by chance?

The number of people willing to give immunity shows, that there's considerable support for this song. It would probably do quite well without immunity.

i'll never understand the complaining about backing vocals on Guilt. they're totally understated in comparison to the other usages of BV dating back to SubCulture 12". Guilt is a great song. People what dance songs, then complain when they write a good one. Someone Like You is another one that gets shit on but its classic New Order. the BV on SLY are way over the top compared to Guilt.

NOOL: "Well hello there little GIAUE. Who's your daddy?"

GIAUE: "Ummm, I don't know. But Jeff is my mommy." :baby:

Hasta la vista Krafty! You are the weakest link, goodbye!

As for GIAUE, this song was the first track that I instantly liked on first listen. Granted, it does not have very strong lyrics (it's a club song, what do you expect?!), but not every song has to be a lyrical masterpiece. Don't get me wrong, I love their songs that have good lyrics and make you think about them as much as the next guy. Sometimes though, it's nice to have a fun song that you can hum or dance around to. With that said, after many listens of the album, I don't find it as my #1 song. Top 3 easily though. I find WFTSC and Turn #1 and #2, or reversed, with GIAUE coming in at 3. It's nowhere near as cheesy and silly as Jetstream!

By the way, I finally heard Jetstream on Virgin Radio UK today! Even though I'm not that fond of that song, it was great to hear them play their new forthcoming single for all to hear... even if it was a poor choice and should've been GIAUE. ;)

About that time to TURN in

No doubt those are the top five, and Krafty gets my vote out today. Oh, and this is post 800! Took long enough...
