Most of my picks for the all-time WORST New Order singles include female backup singers and/or cameos:

World, Crystal, Subculture 87, Shame of the Nation, Jetstream, Guilt is a Useless Emotion

BUT there are a few which involve the band members or other male backup singers that actually work (with the strong exception of World in Motion):

Krafty, Weirdo

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but i definitely disagree on all the non WFTSC tracks, and even then, im still mixed on jetstream and guilt, i need more time to let them sit with me, but im just a bit surprised, cuz i didnt think too many new order fans hated subculture87 and crystal

All I can say is, be thankful you haven't heard my wife singing along to Krafty in the shower!

What about the ones that feature Backup/Guest male vocalists, like Rock The Shack.

Who DO you want doing backups? Steve?

I personally really like Subculture and LOVE Crystal and Guilt. What do you not like about Crystal?

I don't like them either, but I believe that for the first time they are wisely used on this album.

Plus, Jetstream is very flat without it, trust me.

Spotnick, you're completely right. The 85/86 singles and 93/01 stuff had superfluous and over the top backing vocals but they've done it properly on this album.

One of the better songs on Get Ready

Crystal is one of the greatest New Order tunes of all time. Perfection. I get pissed off when Dawn Zee is not there and they use a tape.

World, Crystal, Jetstream - :thumb: Subculture, Shame of the Nation, Guilt -

A bit harsh on Guilt but they could have been done better. I might be being a bit kind on World too.

I don't mind them really, when properly used, which is certainly the case on World and Guilt for instance, but I can easily understand why people can hate them too. It gives New Order songs a rather cheesy feel. ;)

Unlike everybody else, I like Rock the Shack.
