PIC OF THE DAY - Alternative Press '93

While sifting through the numerous articles and clippings I have collected since the past 10-15 years as a New Order fan, I have come accross a lot of Images that are less commonly seend on the web; Images from NME articles, live reviews, ect. I thought I would share them with you in the Forum, as a daily treat.

i like that, keep posting a pic of the day :) though, i wonder what the photographer was saying..."okay here's what i want...i'm looking for a whimsicalintensefaroffbutlaidback look you're not to actually look at each other, but stand in a 'pattern', sort of a 'weave' of new order and gillian needs to look AWAY from the pattern to create that 'loose thread' that gives the whole shot that...'edgy' vibe..."

Seen that pic hundred times on t web.Got any originals?. Im particularly interested in seeing again the pic i haven`t seen for 20 years of them in Smash Hits 1984.Standing near a small lake.Bernard in that greyish black leatherish jacket.Surely someone has it?

Umm stay tuned buddy. They'll be posted. I know which ones you are referring to....They're in the '90 issue of Record Collector.

What about the ones of Gillian on her own - from Smash Hits in 1982

I'd never noticed how much of a short-arse Hooky is. He's hidden that well for years.

Does anyone have the Sep 98 (I'm sure that was the month, perhaps '97 or '99) edition of Select Magazine? Barney's on the cover with a grey suit on and the headline was Absolute New Order.
