The day has finally arrived. Check back often and the 6 tracks will be added today.

New Order - Live at Canal+

1 - Jetstream Windows Media | Real Video 2 - Hey Now How You Doing Windows Media | Real Video 3 - Waiting For The Sirens' Call Windows Media | Real Video 4 - Krafty Windows Media | Real Video 5 - Crystal Windows Media | Real Video 6 - Love Will Tear Us apart Windows Media | Real Video

I will post the full quality version later today, so people wanting to make DVDs for themselves will be able to. Consider that the quality of this preview to be strangly bad compared to the original WMV file which is a direct copy from the satellite feed, but I have a hard time to downscale a WMV file.

A big thanks to Éric Martin from the french forum for these.

Fantastic!

Where's EE? He'll have to find something else to talk about now!

Cheers, Nic!

I was always told never to wear white trainers with dark trousers...

Cheers to all involved.

Great! ... and even with an autocue he doesn't get the words right... or is the second/double "our respect runs so dry" artistic freedom?

Can't wait to see the other videos!

Good performance....Barney walking to the stage with a drink in hand, Mr. Morris looking bored as fuck during "Jetstream" (it does look like the simplest drum riff since "Ceremony").

Where can I get that Space Invaders shirt like the one worn by Steve?

My French is not so good, but I can make out the following from the presenter at the start of Jetstream:

“New Order rose from the ashes of Joy Division… lost seventy Centimes on each copy of their best-selling single Bleu Lundi…”

Can anyone work out what else he’s saying?

Good evening Le Live de la semaine features a british rock legend who began under the name of Joy Division, and that after the suicide of their lead singer Ian Curtis became New Order.

It's now been 20 years that New Order plays between New Wave and House music. They influenced a huge amount of artists from various horizons, they were at the original of the fusion of rock and dance music and the remix fashion.

Today, New Order is composed of Bernard Sumner, guitar and vocals, Peter Hook on bass, Steve Morris at drums and Phil Cunningham at keyboards and guitar.

They just released their last album titled "Waiting For The Sirens' Call". Our 4 mancunians didn't lose anything of their poetry and got back to electronic music, major component of their long career.

You will meet them on stage and discover 4 new titles of their last album and a few great classics of their discography containing a version of Love Will Tear Us Apart dedicated to their singer dead 25 years ago.

Let's go, up to the gods....

Damn ... twice now I've glimpsed at Barney and momentarily thought,

"William Shatner?"

:spit:

P.S. For the moment at least, to reach the HNWYD Real Video file, you need to change the "hwy" in the url to "hey".

What is this, neworder.cc? Geez.

There seems to be an issue with Sam's server where the media is hosted.

Don't worry, it will be back quickly...

Why a bittorrent? you can download them in normal http without any software.

Check the "self-destruct" thread.

Maybe Tocknet would like the MPEG2+AC3 recorded quality ?

The audio for this has already been banned by DAD - as would any attempt to torrent the video.

Canal+ is pay channel, hence anything recorded off it is deemed to have been a commercial release.

Thanks very much for these (and the high quality ones).

Thought that the performance of LWTUA was one of their better efforts, some real emotion in the performance and no yelps , whistles etc that have appeared during recent interpretations...
