Groove Notations on early vinyl releases

they are done at the cut and I guess whoever attended would have the opportunity to get a comment on there. they sound well considered so perhaps wilson would have come up with some of them. I would think they stopped when vinyl stopped being the primary medium for release as you can't do anything similar on CDs. also the band or any representative most probably haven't attended a cut since the days of factory, and you won't get an engineer putting anything on without being told to (not that they'd care to anyway)
The number of anally retentive, anorak wearing, train spotterish threads has been unacceptably low of late. Hopefully this one will go towards redressing the balance.
