i just took a break from work to pick it up at the local Tower Records... $11.99.

this mac quayle remix of GIAUE isn't half bad. i'm not sure if it's better than the original version, but that'll take some time for me to decide.

And a happy NO release day to you all in the states. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it's good. Will pick my copy up in 60 minutes.:D

You could always try the BEAST, errr, Best Buy.

So WFTSC is out today, eh? Good enough reason as any to leave the house. :bow2:

If you want to help NewOrderOnline, here are the Amazon links (with reference), so at least 5% of the sale price will go to the NOOL fund.

how's this for shitty luck...We finish up all of our remodel crap rather early this morning...so I go gather up my copy of WFTSC, along with the rest of the stuff I needed this morning, and wait for 8 so I could actually buy my stuff...and our frigging registers crash...

It's really US exclusive.. the canadian edition doesn't have it.

Well, I got the US promo 2 weeks ago, hence the clip you can hear online here.

Guilt Is A Useless Emotion (Mac Quayle Vocal Mix)

I think it's worth it, but it's up to you, I'll probably maybe I'll buy a copy while in Chicago, who knows...

And a Happy New Order New Release Day to all of you :)

It's nice to see something new in the NO bin rather than PCL, Best Of, and Substance. Looking forward to the release of the singles.

Listening to the real thing is immensely more enjoyable than listening to the bootleg copy I had been listening too.

I'm not a huge fan of Guilt: but I rather like the Mac Quayle mix. With the bonus track, the disc clocks in at over 1 hour - quite the output on a single album for them.

iTunes now has two WFTSC, with and without the extra track (both $9.99).

Unfortunatley I can't justifying buying the US copy based on a 30 second clip.

If it comes out on a 12" then maybe i get it then.

I spent 25 on the import.

I'm not sure it's worth it for that remix.

I wanna hear the whole thing 1st

The Phones Reality of Krafty was a better job, but still good.

just bagged me WFTSC at Tower for the low low price of $11.99. Sounds better than the bootie traveling around, just need to get it in a car with a nice sound system to make the final call......

I'm officially off now for California. I'm leaving work in a little over 3 hours and then its New Order week!!!!!

Kimmel, check. Oakland, check. Coachella, check. NYC, check. Chicago, grrrrr:angry:

To paraphrase Will Ferrell, "I see New Order and they look glorious"

Who's Joe?

Just got it from Virgin 14.11 with tax am Listening to it right now:music:, so far so good. the packaging is typical NO, the pictures inside Nice and Glossy, no pertinent Info on the inside of the booklet as usual

hey now what you doing is very similar to the Church's "North South East And West" so far that the only comment i have Right Now

Just scored WFTSC at Best (Worst) Buy. Called them first to see if it was there. Affirmative reply. I get there and it's not on the shelves, nor in the NO section but in a cart with other shit. $13.99.

15, not 25, quoting The Independent magazine.

Their best, not the best.

That was my reaction as well. Lower quality paper.

i dont think said best album in 25 years but i think more along the lines of 25 years of Groundbreaking music, or pioneers or something like that i tore it open pretty quick to play it on my discman

Also

i do not like Jetstream and right now i think Guilt is a Useless Emotion is one of the better songs, the remix is decent too is Working Overtime the bastard Grandchild of the Stooges 1969 ?

Listening to the Guilt mix right now. Not too bad. Interesting to have an extra little bonus on the album. Just $12.99 at our independent record store.

As already pointed out, album clocking in at 63 minutes is pretty amazing. I'm use to the 40 or 45 minutes.

NO, you done good. :music:

Anticipating the sirens call here... wife preordered it for me on Amazon so I guess I'll wait patiently another day or so until it arrives.

Order(ed) :evil4: mine (US version) several weeks ago from Amazon and got an email on Sunday that it had been dispatched! When I track the shipment it still shows in Delaware. Anyhoot, I'm stoked and praying it'll get here by the weekend!

Went down to the local F. Meyer for mine, @ 14.99, the only copies in town, I do believe. Their copies weren't in the racks, so I was a bit miffed, but after asking the nice lady clerk, she pointed out their prominence on the new release wall.

I should probably advertise the album like I saw the fellow in the parking lot was doing for, errr, Def Leppard. He had the release date for their new album and their upcoming concert appearance scrawled, in bright orange marker, all over the canopy of his pickup, along with some photos of the band.

BTW, the Target had NO copies to speak of.

I just got back from picking up mine. I got it at Circuit City for $13.99. $15.11 after tax.

In Beaverton, Oregon no copies at Target and Circuit City near Washington Square Mall.

Had to drive to Best Buy to get my copy ($13.99).

Too skint to buy anything right now. BUT...

My cousin says she's seen WFTSC/Tower ads on TV (I'm too skint to have TV reception). Naturally, the WFTSC ads feature Blue Monday. :thumb:

iTunes has the version with the Mac Quayle mix but that track's for purchase "with album only". I already bought the album from iTunes so I'm stuck for another $10 if I want the one track. I'm no audiophile and the downlodded version's quality enough for me. Maybe I'll buy the CD anyway so I can get the artwork etc., but it'll probably just gather dust...

Yeah, but sooner or later I'd have to eat something, and then I'd start to thinking about how that CD would taste with Thai chili sauce. :D

I got mine today from Tower Records and I also like the Mac Quayle mix on Guilt better then the album version. I also noticed there in no mention of Reprise Records on the CD, only Warner Brothers and London Records. Now, I just have to wait another week for the US Krafty single to come out.

I noticed that the coloring on the cover is a orangy/red. I though it looked more red on the UK release, or am I color blind.

Got mine from Best Buy in Cary, NC for $15.11 after tax. They had about 8-10 copies. Loving it :music:

Just picked up 2 copies at local tower ($11.99) and Rasputin ($14.99)...one for playing/recording and one to keep for the kids....

Gotta say that I like the instore big promo poster...clearly oversized...and lots of promo material all around Tower.

Hopefully just 72 hours from now I'll be seeing some of the tracks live!

got mine at tower too. the guilt remix was playing in the store when i was in line to buy it. nice touch.

Glad to see that the US is finally getting a look in on the WFTSC action but why do the US get a bonus track thats not on the UK version? Why are the suits shortchanging the UK fans of a UK band? I'd be calmer if this bonus track was being tagged onto the forthcoming UK Jetstream single, but it's not... Could it possibly be that the suits are expecting UK fans to help bolster US sales...?

just ordered it off Amazin.com

Attention iTunes shoppers:

If the Prodigy record is any precedent, the "Album Only" bonus track will be available as a standalone download in a few weeks.

Scored mine at Best Buy as well. Must've been about 20 copies on the rack, I was impressed. $13.99 - about as good as new CD prices get here. I'm glad to finally have an official copy.

When US bands release albums in the UK, they put bonus tracks on the CD's. it only makes sense that UK bands do the same when releasing American CD's.

I guess this can be arranged with iTunes, they won't force you to buy it twice, will they?

Typically iTunes customer service isn't great, I've seen several message baord postings about people being charged twice or not being credited for defective tracks, so I doubt it (though I've never suffered myself).

The point is moot however as I slapped down for the CD anyway this afternoon...

Happy New Order week all. Glad you can finally join us in discussing the album.

Thanks Bentley. Was really getting to the old ears drums mate.

I was just talking to Bernard on the phone in his hotel room in LA. Everyone was getting ready to watch the Kimmel Show on ABC late night on the West Coast. They were listening to Dex'ies Midnight Rider who is going to open the show in Coachella. Will be a great show.

Are you going to any of the shows in Chicago or Detroit?

I got the CD from Amazin.com yesterday. Got up to track 7 but had to go to work. So far it's pretty good. As with all NO albums, it's gonna take a while to grow on me. I hated GR at first, now I love it :)
