i just took a break from work to pick it up at the local Tower Records... $11.99.
this mac quayle remix of GIAUE isn't half bad. i'm not sure if it's better than the original version, but that'll take some time for me to decide.
And a happy NO release day to you all in the states. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it's good. Will pick my copy up in 60 minutes.:D

You could always try the BEAST, errr, Best Buy.
So WFTSC is out today, eh? Good enough reason as any to leave the house. ![]()
how's this for shitty luck...We finish up all of our remodel crap rather early this morning...so I go gather up my copy of WFTSC, along with the rest of the stuff I needed this morning, and wait for 8 so I could actually buy my stuff...and our frigging registers crash...
pisser...eh....

It's really US exclusive.. the canadian edition doesn't have it.

Well, I got the US promo 2 weeks ago, hence the clip you can hear online here.
Guilt Is A Useless Emotion (Mac Quayle Vocal Mix)
I think it's worth it, but it's up to you, I'll probably maybe I'll buy a copy while in Chicago, who knows...
And a Happy New Order New Release Day to all of you :)
It's nice to see something new in the NO bin rather than PCL, Best Of, and Substance. Looking forward to the release of the singles.
Listening to the real thing is immensely more enjoyable than listening to the bootleg copy I had been listening too.
I'm not a huge fan of Guilt: but I rather like the Mac Quayle mix. With the bonus track, the disc clocks in at over 1 hour - quite the output on a single album for them.

You are having a good run of bad luck too JEFF.Join our club. :D
Unfortunatley I can't justifying buying the US copy based on a 30 second clip.
If it comes out on a 12" then maybe i get it then.
I spent 25 on the import.
I'm not sure it's worth it for that remix.
I wanna hear the whole thing 1st

Tune in on NewOrderOnline radio tomorrow ;) 8pm GMT-5
just bagged me WFTSC at Tower for the low low price of $11.99. Sounds better than the bootie traveling around, just need to get it in a car with a nice sound system to make the final call......
I'm officially off now for California. I'm leaving work in a little over 3 hours and then its New Order week!!!!!
Kimmel, check.
Oakland, check.
Coachella, check.
NYC, check.
Chicago, grrrrr![]()
To paraphrase Will Ferrell, "I see New Order and they look glorious"
Who's Joe?
Just got it from Virgin 14.11 with tax am Listening to it right now
, so far so good. the packaging is typical NO, the pictures inside Nice and Glossy, no pertinent Info on the inside of the booklet as usual
hey now what you doing is very similar to the Church's "North South East And West" so far that the only comment i have Right Now
Hey Was I correct or did it say something about the best album in 25 years on the cover??
someone care to help me on this??
Thanks

Why no Chicago?
Just scored WFTSC at Best (Worst) Buy. Called them first to see if it was there. Affirmative reply. I get there and it's not on the shelves, nor in the NO section but in a cart with other shit. $13.99.

15, not 25, quoting The Independent magazine.
Their best, not the best.

That was my reaction as well. Lower quality paper.

i dont think said best album in 25 years but i think more along the lines of 25 years of Groundbreaking music, or pioneers or something like that i tore it open pretty quick to play it on my discman
Also
i do not like Jetstream and right now i think Guilt is a Useless Emotion is one of the better songs, the remix is decent too is Working Overtime the bastard Grandchild of the Stooges 1969 ?
Listening to the Guilt mix right now. Not too bad. Interesting to have an extra little bonus on the album. Just $12.99 at our independent record store.
As already pointed out, album clocking in at 63 minutes is pretty amazing. I'm use to the 40 or 45 minutes.
NO, you done good. ![]()
