I get the 'poet McTiegle' joke, but who's the 'guy who really knows NO' & what did he do?

The guy's first post on NOOL was:

"Hooky/Bernard I'm on my way to Los Angeles. Call me."

...and he left an email address. Clearly, he knew the band, but the funny part was he was using an unrelated thread on NOOL as a message board to the band.

Makes you wonder just who some of these lurkers are. Right Hooky & Bernard? ;)
