Goodnight to you Bear, if you're still lurking.

:\pimp3:

Not yet, DC. I'm looking forward to hearing the additional mixes on the US CD, but I'm not likely to hear them until the actual release.

You recommend the Morel mixes, DC?

I've got the records here but I've only spun them the once. They were much better than I expected and may even fit your club-friendly profile.

Might slip them on again now actually.

I recommend buying the US Krafty Pats (next week I think?), I'm going to shell out for a copy on Amazon. Or perhaps there's another US online vendor you can recommend?

:\pimp3:

Mine has been pre-ordered from Amazon for some time. Next Tuesday is the release date, I believe.

No, DC, I don't have anybody to recommend over Amazon. In my experience they are very reliable.

It wasn't so much the reliability I was worried about, more their shipping quote. It's makes a significant difference living so far away, as you can imagine.

Anyhow, they've always been efficient in the past so I'll probably go with them again.

For imports I've sometimes used Sirendisc (aptly named!). Their shipping charges are very low, but the CD's generally arrive with broken covers.

What did you make of the setlist from last night, P?

I hadn't seen it before reading your question, DC.

Surprises: Love Vigilantes and Run Wild.

... And perhaps She's Lost Control.

Run Wild: if you'd suggested that'd get an airing live, people would've laughed you out of town.

Sounds like a lot of excitement from all the NOOLers present. Pity you can't make a show, Pats.

Still, the upside is you get to maintain the integrity of your wall of secrecy.

Yes, I've just been reading the comments.

I certainly wouldn't want anyone photographing me.

But apart from that, DC, you have managed to open a few large holes in that wall.

What's with the no photographs policy, P?

I thought we established last night that there's far worse things than having red hair. Like having red hair and crooning SAW hits, for example.

:\pimp3:

There seems to be some confusion here, DC, about the relationship between red hair and me. I don't HAVE red hair; I LIKE red hair.

Thanks for the clarification, P. I was just being cheeky.

But you have eliminated one hair colour from the possible pallette. Grey has firmed in the betting.

:\pimp3:

And I don't even know who SAW are, DC.

You never really clarified your own feelings about red hair, DC. Is it that certain shades of red are acceptable, or is there another basis for differentiating among red-haired people?

Evasive maneuvering, P.

SAW = Stock, Aitken & Waterman (Rick Astley was the reference to last night).

:\pimp3:

I think perhaps now I understand, DC.

SAW are the people who wrote those wonderful songs that Rick Astley once performed so brilliantly. Is that it?

You got it, P.

And quite possibly, SAW all now have grey hair. They probably look quite distinguished in their flash silver cars and suits.

:\pimp3:

I'm sure they probably look far more distinguised than I do, DC, if that's what you're getting at. I used to know someone whose hair had gone completely grey by the time he was thirty. Unfair, don't you think?

Are you staying up all night, DC?

Unfair, certainly.

I'm about to call it a night, P.

Don't you have things to do or places to be with the rest of your Saturday?

:\pimp3:

Well, I hope you have a good night, DC.

I will probably be here (at work) another hour or so and then go off home.

See if I have any Rick Astley CD's.

Actually Tarbox, there's more to this thread than just that new interview with Hooky info. And as you might have noticed, those guys never let the threads die. Compare it to meeting up with a mate, for example. Bet the further converstaion wouldn't be based on that info only, right? In other words, although I didn't participate in this thread, I assure you I read every single post of theirs because sometimes it's funny, sometimes very informative, you know you learn something new every day and it doesn't necessary have to something with the band. Sure we all are here because of New Order, but please don't ruin the spirit of community. This has been alredy discussed before and we don't want any of those good posters go away no more. It's just if you don't wanna read it, then don't. It's as simple as that.

Cheers!

Just to let you know I'm awake, DC.

Now that's just plain ridiculous, P.

Next you'll be telling us you were at a nightclub.
