Besides, we all know Logic Pro is a much better editing package than ProTools.

edited on a community radio station where a FCC fine can shut us down cause we don't have cash like clear channel.

That's the best bit.
If I were you I would get your MD player + the right cable and hook it into the "Line in" port on your sound card. Fiddle about with the Windows Volume (Recording) control until it sounds ok through your speakers when the MD is played. Then get your hands on some wave recording software. I still use Cool Edit 2000 v1.1 for all my tape/vinyl transfers, it more than does the job and if you need a copy say hello over MSN. Cool Edit's great for pointing and clicking the bits of the wave file you want removed, faded, echoed, reverbed etc. Loads of settings and very cool for an elderly piece of software. Once you've finished editing out all of Hooky's bleepers normalise the file to 100% and save to either wave or mp3... job done! How eloquent your file sounds in the end depends on how much Hooky swore and where in the sentences. Cool Edit can let you remove the individual swear words but that may result in stuttering in Hooky's speech which is rubbish sounding.
Still don't know why you don't just leave the swearing intact. Being a New Order fan goes hand in fookin' hand with endless swearing and crude sexual jokes

The edit are strictly for Kamar's radio show since the FCC can impose fines for profanity. I don't think either Kamar or WLUW would be too keen on that so there's not much choice if he wishes to air the interview. As for the website, I believe Nic will host the interview with all the F words intact here on the site.
There's some interesting things in there regarding playing some of the older material.. oops! I've said too much. 
The interview is airing on Kamar's radio show first, which is on public airwaves. The un edited version will show up here after the premier.

i'd love to leave the interview the way it is, but this is America and we don't have the privelage. it was nothing too bad, just the fuck word here or cunt there, whatever. after listeing to it today, Hooky is cool as fuck. i was nervous interviwing him and don't have much experience with this stuff, he even caught onto that. i tried to ask as many questions as possible that were discussed on nool at one point or another. hope you all enjoy it :)
You should just bleep out his swearing, so the edited version keeps the context of his colorful phraseology, even if we can't tell exactly what he said.
All swearing will be included on NewOrderOnline Radio's show of wednesday, don't worry...
Unless Kamar can't make it tomorrow, he has exclusivity for sure ;)
