Great DJ set by hooky. From what I remember ('cause I had a bit too much to drink)he played some Chems, Blur, New Order....some great renditions of BLT, Krafty, Blue Monday, Crystal ect.

Were any other NOOnline members in attendance?

It Looked like he was having a great time, as was the audience....and I was dancing like a freak. I managed to sneak backstage just as he was leaving after his set and I managed to get a few things signed. More importantly...he was very nice, and when I asked him why New Order did not include Toronto on thier current tour...he sincerely apologized and stated that timing and scheduling had got in the way. He assured me that they will play Toronto on their next tour.

I need to work my way for a Montréal show as well... :evil4:

That will never happen, I know it.

Was Peter alone there? no other members? In Chicago, Phil was there the first day, and the management as well.

In Chicago he did sign stuff when DJing, in New York, there was a lineup for signing things.

But according to the Brits, people standing in front of the DJ booth starting to Hooky for the whole set, this has happened only in North America ;)

I don't think Phill was there. I only saw Hooky.

As for people standing in front of the stage and staring at hooky...I would say that is true...except we were dancing as well. Compared to Brits...I think North Americans have a more extreme pension for fandom...and I would be guilty of that as well...hence the fans staring at Hooky DJing. A nice girl who was standing next to me had a camera and was clicking away....another girl who claimed was a big fan had never heard of this site...and was anxious to check it out, once I told her about the forums. The funny thing though is that she had a bunch of things she wanted signed by Hooky...and one was an Electronic C.D.

Anyways...it was a great night...closest thing to seeing the Order live this year :(

The venue (mod club) was very nice...I would definately go there again.

Cheers.
